Day 1 Luang Prabang
Meet on arrival at the airport. Orientation tour of the city. Free at leisure before the visit of the Hmong night market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2 Luang Prabang
Breakfast. Sightseeing in Luang Prabang: Wat Mai, the former Royal Palace, Wat Sene, Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Aham and Wat Visoun. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3 Luang Prabang/Kuang Si/Luang Prabang
Breakfast. Lao cooking class in the morning. Excursion to Kuang Si waterfalls. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4 Luang Prabang/Pak Ou/Luang Prabang
Morning Alms Giving ceremony. Excursion to the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong. In the beginning of the afternoon, small cruise to the Pak Ou Caves. Sightseeing in the other bank of Luang Prabang: Wat LongKune and Wat Chompet. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 5 Luang Prabang/Xiengkhouang
Breakfast. Early departure by road to Xieng Khouang, the Plain of Jars ( 6 hours drive). Stop on the way to visit traditional villages. On the arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Xiengkhouang.
Day 6 XiengKhouang
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit of the main site of the Plain of Jars (site 1). The Plain of Jars will be classified under UNESCO label in 2010. In the afternoon, discover the Hmong and Tai Dam traditional villages and the Tam Piew caves before the visit of a hot spring. Overnight in Xiengkhouang.
Day 7 Xieng Khouang/Vientiane
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit of the site 2 of the Plain of Jars before the transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. On arrival, orientation tour and visit of the Wat Simuang. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 8 Vientiane
Breakfast. Sightseeing in Vientiane: Wat Sisaket and Wat Ho Phra Keo, That Luang, Patuxai and the morning market. At the end of the day, traditional ceremony of Baci. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 9 Vientiane/Pakse/Wat Phou/Done Daeng
Breakfast at your hotel. Flight to the south of Laos. Visit of the Wat Phou temple in Champassak, classified as World Heritage site by UNESCO. In the afternoon, walk around the Done Daeng island. Overnight in Done Daeng at La Folie Lodge.
Day 10 Done Daeng/ Khone Island/Khone Papeng/Pakse
Breakfast at your hotel. Road to the Hat Sai Khun pier to embark your local boat to the Done Det and Done Khone Island. Visit of the Lippi waterfall. Road to the Khone Papheng waterfall. Overnight in Pakse.
Day 11 Pakse/Siem Reap
Breakfast. Flight to Cambodia. Sightseeing in Siem Reap: the complex of Roluos, temples Preak Ko and Bakong. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12 Siem Reap
Breakfast. Transportation by Tuk Tuk. Sightseeing in Angkor: Angkor Thom, Preah Khan, elephant ride around Bayon, Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 13 Siem Reap
Breakfast. Excursion to Banthey Samrey and Banthey Srei. In the afternoon, departure for the Tonle Sap lake and visit of the floating village of Kompong Pluk. Dinner with Apsara dance performances. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 14 Siem Reap out
Breakfast. One hour of relaxation massage, visit of the old market and the Artisans d’Angkor workshop and free at leisure before transfer to the airport for departure flight. |
